Chimney condensate collection system

The chimney condensate system consists of a collecting vessel into which condensation from heating system flues is directed and which contains a sensor and pump by which the water is discharged when a critical level is reached.The vessel (10) collects condensation water accumulating in the flue of a gas burning heating system and a submersible pump (16) discharges it through a pipe (34) when the level reaches a certain point, determined by a float switch (18). The pump inlet is at a low level (21), so that the vessel is emptied.
