Method of repairing damaged pipes

A sealing mass in the form of a liquid or paste of a hardening material such as cement, polymer concrete or epoxy resin is fed by tubes into the damaged area of the pipe. A flexible hollow body (2) in which a vibrator (7) is placed is positioned on the area over which the sealing mass is spread.Liquid is fed under pressure to the body, while the vibrator is operated. The liquid inflates the body while the vibrating mass pushes the sealing mass into cracks in the pipe. Any water or contamination present in the cracks is pushed out by the sealing mass. The inflated body (2) can at the same time seal-off any branch lines (6).
