The water-jet pump is mounted in a pipe section between the cold water tap and the mixer tap. The suction side of the pump is connected by an opening to a water storage space which is open to atmosphere. The opening, which is controlled by a valve, is formed by the overflow of the mixer.The water-jet pump (16), the valve (20) and the bypass valve, which is mounted in parallel with the jet pump, are mounted in the mixer armature as a pre-assembled unit. The valve (20) is formed by a bore with a valve seat over which a cage is mounted. The cage is open at the side and holds a ball float.
