The invention concerns a control circuit (fig. 1) for adjusting the yawing moment of a vehicle. In certain special cases, it is desirable to limit the control characteristics of this circuit. For this purpose, according to the invention, the current estimated friction coefficient is used to establish a maximum friction coefficient ( mu max) which in turn is used to determine a maximum admissible yaw angular acceleration ( PSI soll max). The yaw rate is used to alter the additional torque (MG) which serves to adjust the vehicle stability.
