FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves drying harvested potato; placing dried potato into containers made from nonwoven covering material such as polypropylene; holding tubers for 2-3 weeks under ambient temperature of +12 - +18 C and relative humidity of 85-95%; removing rotten tubers; laying potato for prolonged storage, with storage temperature being gradually reduced. EFFECT: decreased labor intensity and increased economy by reduced container production cost, improved quality of product. |
