SUBSTANCE: flat butt-joint gasket has at least one metal sheet forming the fitting cut to profile of butt joint in plan, and members made of elastomer in the form of cord placed on and tightly glued to sheet just in front of holes to provided adequate sealing. Gasket has also solid mandrel made of elastomer and placed on one part of sheet surface in front of holes to form local thickening and improve sealing. EFFECT: enhanced sealing of joint. |
