Device for removing organic impurities from gravel

The device is based on washing of the organic impurities. It consists of an angled deck (1) with sieve (2), a water box (3) which can turn, a water feed (4) at the upper end of the deck. A water outlet at the lower end of the box with a gutter (5) runs across the transporting direction to take away the impurities. The deck has a device (7) in it for blowing in air. The device may consist of one or more tubes (8) running across the transporting direction, with a number of input jets (9) for compressed air. The air blast carries out the hydrophobic impurity particles but not the hydrophilic gravel.
