PURPOSE: To cause each of living rooms to be cooled and heated at each of set temperatures under a simple control, and to save an installing work as well as an energy required for the operation. CONSTITUTION: This air conditioner comprises living room ventilation means 6a, 6b for ventilating air in each of living rooms 4a, 4b; living room temperature sensing means 2a, 2b for sensing temperatures of the living rooms 4a, 4b; living room control means 5a, 5b for controlling an amount of ventilation of each of the living room ventilation means 6a, 6b in response to a difference between each of the detected living room temperatures and an air conditioning set temperature; a heat source 1 for cooling or heating return air ventilated from each of the living rooms 4a, 4b; a return temperature sensing means 2 for sensing a temperature of the returned air; and a heat source control means 3 for controlling a capability of the heat source 1 in response to a difference between the detected temperature and the set temperature. |
