Sliding drive joint with male and female partial elements

The male partial element (1) forms a tripod for securing to a first shaft. The female part-element (2) is intended to be secured on a second shaft and defines two tracks (7,11) on either side of each tripod leg (6). Between the latter and respective tracks are located intermediate elements (3,4). On the leg side the track (7) has a first roll flute and the intermediate element (3) is a ball, coacting with the flute and another one (10) in the leg. The two flutes are at an angle. At the other leg side the intermediate element (4) coacts with both the a second track (11), and a spherical face (8) of the leg via its spherical face (14,19).
