FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: known re carriers consisting of tractor and long-cut load trailer furnished with loading and unloading device. Drawback of known carrier is use of special-design complex loading device for long-cut trunks. Novelty in design of proposed carrier which has truck-tractor and trailer connected by rigid coupling gear is use of simple and reliable removable lifting and guiding arrangement by means of which loading of heavy-weight folded mechanized bridge is provided using standard cable winch for self-recovery of truck- tractor. Minimum re-equipment of standard truck-tractor and pole-trailer is required. EFFECT: improved service characteristics of carrier. 4 cl, 12 dwg
