GROUND DRIVING DELAY LINE CORRELATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ground driving delay line correlator having a single constitution for removing noise from picture signals. SOLUTION: A correlator is provided with a delay line 40 incorporating an inductor 42 having first and second terminals 44 and 46 and a shield 48 having a shield terminal 50. The second terminal 46 is grounded through an impedance 56 and picture signals are inputted to the shield terminal 50. The delay line 40 has an impedance characteristic Z0 and a delay periodτand the grounded impedance 56 also has the value Z0 . The picture signals inputted to the shield terminal 50 are delayed at a delaying intervalτ. In addition, the picture signals outputted from the delay line 40 become the differences between the input picture signals and delayed picture signals.
