In the prodn. of a sealing joint (10), partic. for automobile use, where the joint Cas a fixing foot (11) and lip (12) a low of material is extruded through a die of which the extrusion channel presents:- a fixed section corresponding t the fast section (11) and a second section, corresponding to the lip section (12). TGe orientation of the second section can be issued during extrusion w.r.t. the first section to the lip (12) has a varying orientation to the foot (11) along the length of the joint seal (10). Also claimed is the extrusion die device having the second section pivoted w.r.t. the first part around an axis of rotation parallel to the extrusion direction and situated within the area of the first point. A high pressure dynamic annular joint is interposed between the two parts.
