Analysis of data from coin operated device esp. amusement apparatus

Operating data are stored in the device. On call up, data (10) are read out from the device and are read into a transportable analysis device. The analysed data (16) are output, preferably printed out, from the analysis device. The data transmitted from the amusement appts. are divided into blocks (10). A characteristic code is allocated to each block of transmitted data. The transmitted data are stored in the analysis device. Code data are input into the analysis device. The characteristic codes are compared to the code data. When the codes agree, the data blocks in question are output. The coin operated device has a memory for the operating data and an interface for data output. A device for recording operating data and identification data is connected to the device. The analysis and output device is connected to the coin operated device to analyse and output the data.
