A pressure body (2) for an ophthalmodynamometer (1) is designed as a contact lens that can be set on the cornea to observe the fundus of the eye (4) to be examined. The functions of pressure application, pressure measurement and observation of the fundus of the eye are thus simultaneously united in the contact lens (2). Pressure applied by means of the contact lens (2) can be sensed by a manometer (9), an inductive distance measurement sensor (10) or strain gauges (15).
