Automatically steered bogie for rail vehicles

The bogie steering mechanism consists of a coupling lever (33) pivoting at one end w.r.t. a compensation lever (6) and at the other w.r.t a control lever (34). The control lever is supported at one end w.r.t. the vehicle frame (27) and at the other is connected via a spring unit to a second frame section (39) of the vehicle. The spring unit consists of a coupling rod (36) and two opposingly pretensioned springs (37) in a spring housing (42). Movement of a spring positioner (41) between the springs is limited by stops (38).
