PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a multipolar electric plug connector which can be clearly looked over by connecting plug connector halves each having independent conductor terminals to each other, and electrically connecting a shield conductor connecting member to a shield cover of a cable. SOLUTION: A first plug connector half 3 has independent conductor terminals 5. A shield conductor connecting member 13 is connected to a contact piece 15 via a shield conductor bus bar 14. A second plug connector half 2 also has independent conductor terminals 5, and pulls a shield conductor bus bar 18 to electrically connect it to a shield cover 21 of a cable 20 via the cable binder 20, in a tension load relief portion. When a plug portion 10 and a bush portion 11 of the both plug connector halves 2, 3 are connected to each other, the lower end 17 of the shield conductor bus bar 18 is brought into contact with a contact piece 15, thereby providing through electric connection between the shield conductor connecting member 13 and the shield cover 21. Consequently, it is possible to clearly overlook a multipolar plug connector.
