Plastics coding strip for rubber hoses

The plastics coding strip is printed on its non-imprinted side with a coloured rubber layer (1) whilst the imprints (2) are colour- free. The non-imprinted side can be coated using the screen printing process. The plastics strip (3) is detachably connected to the coloured rubber layer. The imprinted plastics strip is drawn in sections from a reel into a printing machine whereby only the non-imprinted side is coated with the coloured rubber. The printing head of the machine intermittently presses a coating of rubber onto the strip and is then cleaned.
