Moulding material vol. control equipment e.g. for moulds in concrete block machine

The volume control equipment involves the measurement of the sideways movement of the compacting thrust applied to the concrete, and analysing it with regard to typical values. A comparison with stored standard values is made in order to provide a value for the volume or the compaction quality. The blocks are arranged in their moulds within the forming and compacting area during the control procedure. The motional characteristics of the moulding die, or of items connected to it, are measured to provide an indirect indication of the volume or quality of compaction. The physical quantities measured are converted to electrical or optical values for processing.
