The transport containers (10) are assembled face to face by pairs of homologous rapid male (100) and female (220) couplings on the edges of the container faces. The female coupling is constituted by a T groove (201) and the male coupling has a peg (102) with an enlarged head (103) shaped to be inserted in the female groove. The male pin pivots between a raised coupling position in which its head is engaged in the groove and a retracted position in which it is integral with the face concerned. The containers comprise a rigid frame having a corner piece (5). The female grooves are each arranged in a support facet (215) which is in common plane with the four corner pieces. They have a chamfer (202) for facilitating the insertion of the peg enlarged head . The pivoting pegs are each associated with a support facet (115) surrounding their pivoted base (104).
