The valve housing has connecting unions for the pipeline and consumer appliance respectively, and a threshold union for a differential pressure meter and valve top part. The latter contains an externally adjustable valve plug, a valve seat in housing, and a flow throttle. A valve controls flow from the pipeline union to the threshold one. A throttle body (32) is located on the valve plug (3) in front of or behind the valve cone (34) and the housing side valve seat (14), determining the throttling position. The throttle body forms with an allocated valve bore (15) in the housing (1) a constant shifting during shifting of the valve plug.
