The invention concerns a connection element (1) to be mounted between two ends (2A) of a diamond-impregnated cable (2) used for cutting into blocks, in particular of natural stone. The diamond-impregnated cable (2) is used in particular in the form of a continuous loop and the connection element (1) comprises at least one emitter (6) which can emit at least one signal and comprises at least two emitter parts which are separable from each other and which, when combined with each another, emit a signal indicating a particular direction (8), and possibly at least one auxiliary signal. The invention also concerns a diamond-impregnated cable (2) equipped with this connection element (1). |
