PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aluminum foil having high adhesion to an image receiving layer containing physical development nuclei and a mono- sheet DTR material based on aluminum for producing a lithographic printing plate having good printing properties. SOLUTION: In a method for producing aluminum foil comprising a process in which the aluminum foil is roughened and subsequently anodized, after the roughening and before the anodization, the aluminum foil is etched by an alkaline solution comprising 3-75 g/l of a strong alkali and then by an acidic solution comprising at least 150 g/l of a strong acid. Moreover, a mono-sheet silver salt diffusion transfer material having the aluminum foil obtained by the method as a support is provided. |
