Vehicle headlamp design

A car headlamp has a lens (26) with a housing (40) clipped onto the rear edge of the mounting (16) and containing the reflector (42) and bulb or bulbs (44). The rear edge of the mounting has a series of catch noses (24) around the periphery and the housing has corresponding spring arms (48) with recesses (50) into which the noses fit. In the light transmission direction, ie, around the front edge, the housing has a groove(46) with an elastic seal. There is a second reflector with its own bulb in the side of the housing. The lens is not coloured but between the second reflector and the lens is a separate colour filter.
