Device for sepg. of culture samples from sheet base culture dishes

Device cutting out basal sheet portions from a plastic culture dish, is new. In the novel unit there is a circular cutting tool (3) and a work table (4). A receiver plate (5) is held interchangeably on the worktable. This plate forms a resting surface for the sheet base (1) of the culture dish. It is also the cutting surface for the blade (15) of the cutting tool (3). The receiver plate has a depression (6); its contour matches that of the culture dish to be laid on it, with its sheet base (1) held under tension.
