A blind equalizer is provided which includes a filter for filtering a reception signal which passed a channel for a predetermined frequency band, an error detection for detecting equalization errors for the output signal of the filter in CMA mode that is the operation mode before the equalizer converges and direct determination mode that is the operation mode after the equalizer converges, and a filter coefficient renewal section for receiving the reception signal and renovating the coefficient of the filter according to the error signal outputted from the error detection. The blind equalizer requires no transmission of training signal and detects equalization errors in real time. |
