FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: wind-electric power plant has tower, windwheel, multistage step-up gear drive, flywheel, coupling, synchronous generator, and control system. It is provided with coupling device incorporating disengageable coupling, brake, additional shaft; large gear of intermediate shaft is coupled with one main and one additional high-speed shafts one of which is hollow and joined with disengageable coupling whose central output member is coupled through additional shaft passed inside hollow output shaft of step-up gear drive with flywheel mounted on other end step-up gear drive relative to disengageable coupling; other high-speed additional shaft is coupled with controlled brake. Novelty is that brake and coupling device are mounted on step-up gear drive housing on side opposite to generator and windwheel; brake may be of mechanical, shoe, disk, or electromagnetic type. Disengageable coupling is friction, single- or multiple-disk design incorporating unit for adjusting axial thrust for compressing the disks; pressure member of coupling is directly linked with drive mechanism. Disconnecting drive of coupling is built up of series-connected motor, reduction unit, and screw-nut pair wherein the screw is joined with reduction unit output shaft and nut is hinged to pressure member of disengageable coupling; optional design has screw-nut pair built as integral unit hinged on coupling case and pressure member is made in the form of lever hinged with coupling pusher. EFFECT: provision for trouble-free operation of wind-electric power plant due to releasing power flow in case of power fluctuations in transmission, improved reliability and safety in operation due to remotely engageable braking mechanisms, reduced size of gondola and material input due to compact arrangement of transmission and power- generating equipment within plant gondola, reduced loads acting on parts and nuts, increased service life of plant. 13 cl, 4 dwg |
