PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a plant binding tape exhibiting excellent workability in binding, having a strength sufficient to fix a grafted part, etc., and further, readily removable in a short time when removing. SOLUTION: This tape is composed of 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride-based resin film containing 40-200 pts.wt. of inorganic fine particles having 0.5-10μm average particle diameter. Plural linear grooves each having a V-letter type or a U-letter shape cross section are formed on at least one face of the tape parallel to the breadth direction of the tape. Angles A and B formed between two opposite tilted faces of the V-shape in the cross section of the groove to the tape face, or those formed between two tangent lines respectively drawn on the opposite two curved faces of U-shape at a position of (1/2) of the depth of the groove to the tape face satisfy the following relation formulae (1)-(4) and the depth of the groove is (1/5)-(1/2) of the thickness of the film, and the pitch of the groove is 50-300μm. A<=B<=5A (1), 40 deg.<=(A+B)<=130 deg. (2), 15 deg.<=A<=60 deg. (3), and 20 deg.<=B<=90 deg. (4).
