Controlling air-fuel ratio in internal combustion engine

Air-fuel ratio sensors are disposed across a catalytic converter. A learning correction value is set and stored while learning an air-fuel ratio correction value obtained by the second air-fuel ratio sensor through averaging processing, the progress degree of learning is stored for each learning and the learning correction value is corrected in accordance with a correction rate commensurate to the progress degree of the learning.
