Frame for door or window

The frame is fitted to a door or window, and has a casing (2) in which a moving frame (1) is mounted. It also has three strips (3-5), which are made from an elastic material, and which lie between the casing and the moving frame when the latter is closed, in order to provide sealing. The strips are separated from one another, and extend in the direction of the perimeter. Air chambers (14) are formed between the strips, and the latter may also be mounted on the moving frame. The frame may also have a stepped edge, with vertical surfaces between the steps, in order to accommodate the strips.
