PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain physiological function data without being affected by the movement of a subject by performing positional matching between first and second magnetic resonance images on the basis of the phase data of spatial frequency data. SOLUTION: The file processing data of a reference image and an uncorrected image are subjected to fast Fourier transform FFRT and a coefficient pc1(1n(kr),θ) is calculated according to formula I. This coefficient is subjected to inverse FFT to obtain the cross-correlation function PC1 (1n(r),θ) of the phase between both images and In(r) andθmaximally shown by the coefficient PC1 are calculated as the correction valuesλpc ,θpc of a scale and rotation. The correction of the scale and rotation to an image to be corrected is performed according to formulae II, III, IV. They are subjected to FFT to be converted to spatial frequency data f(kx, ky) and the phase cross-correlation coefficient pc2(kx, ky) between both images is calculated to the spatial frequency data r(kx, ky) of the reference image according to formula V. This coefficient is subjected to FFT to calculate pc(x, y) and (x) and (y) maximizing this are calculated as position correction values xpc , ypc and an image to be corrected is positionally corrected according to formula IV to be matched.
