The construction comprises a film (2) with longitudinal edges (3,4) anchored to the ground. For anchoring the longitudinal edges of the film, at least one flexible, expandable hose or tube (21,22) is used which lies on or against a longitudinal edge in a trench (5,6) in the bottom. The hose or tube is filled with a fluid under excess pressure and clamps the film edges in the trench. At least one expandable hose or tube forms one whole with the film of the film greenhouse. At least one expandable hose or tube comprises a connecting member for a filling line. At least one expandable hose or tube comprises a submerged pump. A double-walled configuration has two film covers spaced apart using air pressure. The edges of the two film covers are jointly retained in the same trench and by the same hose or tube. Between the environment and the inter-space between the two film covers, at least one first fan is operative. Between the space between the two film covers and the useful space at least one second fan is operative.
