The cable (1) is of a pre-determined length and has a curved fastening section at each end. It is placed over the wheel by securing one section to the outside of the wheel and the other section to inside. A hook (7) which can be moved along the cable is passed through loops (4,8) at one end of the cable. The hook is then fastened onto a portion (9) of the cable between the opposite end of cable to the loops and to a bracket which moves the hook along the cable. Loosening the hook enables the length of the cable to be extended by approximately the same distance between the loop end of the cable and the bracket. |
