A computer table is in the form of a freestanding unit 18. It has a base 34 with a vertical pedestal 40. It has a hinge support 16 for a bracket 5 and plate 10 on which the computer is located 20. The plate extends forward and hinged 14 to the plate, is a support 12 for a keyboard. The keyboard support is stabilised by a bracing strut 22 of adjustable length that allows the angle of the keyboard to be varied.
