Cold compress bandage

The cold compress bandage, for medical applications in first aid treatment and subsequent therapy of muscle and joint injuries, incorporates a foam pad (10) of an acceptable material dermatologically. On one side it has an absorbent storage character, while the other side is watertight and flexible. It contains a number of pores to hold cold water from the water mains. It is combined with a bandage, to be secured firmly in place. The foam pad (10) can be in a pyramid (12) or other suitable shape according to the application site. The shaped foam body (11) is pref. of polyurethane, and holds cold tap water.
