PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that a faulty image such as the change of density or a memory phenomenon is not formed and a single-layered photoreceptive layer is used. SOLUTION: By electrostatically charging the photoreceptive layer 12 of a photoreceptor drum 10 passed through a developing area where it is brought into contact with a developing device 30 to reverse polarity to the polarity electrostatically charged by a main electrostatic charge device 20 by using a reverse-polarity electrostatic charge device 60, the positive holes of space charge generated on the inside of the layer 12 of the drum 10 are moved to the surface side of the layer 12 and electrons are moved to a supporting body side in relation to the exposure of an image. The electrons left near the surface of the layer 12, that means, the electrons which are not recombined on the inside of the layer 12 are annihilated extinguished by light obtained by a discharge device 17 and provided with approach length, that means, short wavelength light of which the energy of incident light is attenuated to 1/e. Besides, it is good that an AC electric field is impressed instead of the light provided with the short penetration length. |
