Fixed cycle stand for secure parking of cycle standing on its wheels

The stand has a fixing system (21) attached to a carriage system (51). The fixing system has two plates (31,32) with a gap (30) between which has a width along the length of the cycle greater than the axle diameter but less than the width of the left hand pedal crank (13). The fixing system incorporates its own or has holes (37), or eyes (36), to allow the attachment of the rider's locking devices (41-49). A standing cycle stands adjacent to the fixing system which supports the cycle frame and accepts, and retains, the part of the axle between the frame and the left hand pedal crank in the gap, between its plates. The locking device fits through the frame and wheel.
