Vehicle spur gear differential

The spur gear differential has drive wheels (42,44) freely mounted on at least three planet wheels (36,38) at the circumference. The drive wheels are at least in two parts, of ring-shaped sections (46,48) and drive discs (50,52), keyed together. The ring-shaped sections and drive discs are coupled together by the inner teeth of the ring sections. The ring sections are formed by sintering or by shaping plate sections without material removal. The planet wheels are especially extrusion pressed. The bearing drillings (58) in the housing (32) have a hard carbide coating.
