PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction machine capable of preventing any transaction using an invalid card with no signature, moreover any unauthorized use by a third person and any damage imposed to the owner caused therefrom.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction machine 100 receives a card and performs a transaction, which includes: a card insertion port 27 through which the card can be inserted; a card passing area communicating with the card insertion port for allowing the card to pass therethrough; a signature space reading part which is disposed in the card passing area for reading a signature written in a signature space on the card; a determination section that determines whether the signature space is filled with a signature; and a notification part 14A for notifying when the determination section determines the signature space is not filled with a signature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
