FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to granulating melts such as sulfur, resin, fertilizer melts, etc. and offers a granulation device as an attachment on melt tube enabling melt granulation both on open areas and in silo-accumulators. Granulation is effected by means of melt and air injection nozzles producing jets in the form of hollow spraying cone. The melt and air jets are disposed in immediate adjacency to each other and are checkered, which gives rise to simultaneous formation of grains and their cooling with air jet since one melt jet is cooled with four air jets whereas one air jet participates in cooling four melt jets. EFFECT: reduced cost price of granulate production and enabled control of granule formation process. |
