The present invention refers to a hinge for motorized vehicle doors, which includes a first hinge half that can be fixed to a first part of the door arrangement, the door or door column, and a second hinge half that can be fixed to a second part of the door arrangement, as well as a hinge pin which joins together both of the hinge halves, so that they can spin, said pin being housed in the first hinge half and being maintenance-free, having sliding adjustment by means of a maintenance-free bearing material bearing sleeve, and in the other hinge half is secured against spinning aabout its axis, thereby allowing a unitary configuration of its components for a variety of uses, and above all, also for articulation as both a left door or as right door, because both halves of a hinge are symmetrically structured relative to a transversal plane with respect to the hinge axis, and the hinge half in which the hinge pin is housed and secured against spinning, when the hinge is mounted, is fixed in said axial direction by at least a releasable security means, and when the security means is released it can be dissasembled from this.
