The invention is related to gaseous esterification by enzyme which characterized in that gaseous of alcohol and gaseous of organic acid are reacted at 25-55 deg. C under the catalyst of lipase comprising 1-25% by weight by water. The alcohol is ethanol, n-propanol, isopropanol, n-butanol or isopropanol, and the organic acid is acetic acid, propionic acid or butyric acid. Ester compound obtained by the invention may be utilized as natural flavors.
