The invention relates to a double-seated valve with a controlled leakage space as described in the preamble to claim 1, by means of which the drawbacks of valves of the kind described therein are eliminated and at the same time favourable conditions are provided for meeting the US "3A standard" to the greatest possible degree. This is achieved in that, with the double-seated valve closed, a closing member (3) cooperating with a first valve housing section (1a) forms a first sealing area (7) while a closing member (2) cooperating with a second valve housing section (1b) forms a second sealing area (8), and there is another closing member (4) in the form of a slide which, in every position other than the open position of the double-seated valve, is sealingly moved inside the through aperture (3b) and which, during the opening movement of the double-seated valve, sealingly bears on the closing member (2) and is taken together with it into the open position.
