The cleat is fixed on an elongated clamp (2) which has two parallel cheeks (3,5) engaging around a sheet rail. Bolt devices block movement of the clamp on the sheet rail in at least one direction. The cheeks are movable in relation to one another out of a closure position engaging the sheet rail into a release position in which the clamp is removable from the sheet rail. One cheek is movable in relation to the other cheek by a hinge (6) running in the longitudinal direction of the clamp. The bolt devices comprise one or more stop pins (7), which engage in securing holes in the sheet rail. The stop pins are captive and spring-loaded. Against the effect of the springs, they are movable from the locking position engaging in the securing holes into a release position, in which the clamp can be moved on the sheet rail.
