The roller skate has a base frame (5) and the sole of the boot (3) is fixed to its upper plate (4). Removable sub-frames (13,14) are fixed to the front (5A) and back ends (5B) of the frame. One sub-frame (13) has a supplementary wheel (8) and the other sub-frame (14) has a brake (9). The front and back ends of the base frame have quadrangular hollows whose shape corresponds to the shape of the ends of the sub-frames (15). A removable shaft (19) passes through holes (20) in the wings of the base frame and corresponding holes (21) in the ends of the sub-frames.
