The shutter is fitted to a door or window, and has a cover with strips (5) which are arranged in lateral slide rails (8,9). The lower ends of the rails have locking equipment (13) in order to prevent the ends of the end strip from sliding sideways out of the rails.The equipment has at least one attachment, which extends inside each rail from the lower end in the direction of the upper end, and which penetrates into the openings (17) in the lower edge (18) and ends of the end strip, when the cover is unrolled.
