Bismuth free-cutting steel with low carbon is composed of below 0.1wt% of carbon, 0.26-0.40wt% of sulfur, 0.75-1.25wt% of manganese, 0.04-0.09wt% of phosphorous, 0.05-0.3wt% of bismuth, 0.010-0.020wt% of oxygen, other remains like indispensable impurities and iron.
