PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable ink liquid droplet quantity by rapidly restoring a meniscus to the original position after emission even when high viscosity ink is used to emit ink at the same meniscus position every time. SOLUTION: In an ink jet printers, the diameter of the nozzle 5 of an ink jet head is set to 50-70μm to lower the resistance to the flow of ink with viscosity of 10-100 cp at the part of the nozzle and ink is rapidly supplied to a cavity chamber from an ink manifold after emission to perform printing in the liquid droplet quantity and drive frequency corresponding to resolving power. By this constitution, ink is emitted in the same liquid droplet quantity every time to obtain a printing result of high quality.
