PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning material excellent in durability and workability, capable of cleaning a subject to be cleaned without damaging and charging it with static. SOLUTION: On the unidirectional-fiber web of refined fibers (from which fine fibers of polyester component with a fiber diameter of 4.2μm and fine fibers of polyamide component with a fiber diameter of 3.1μm can be derived) with a size of 2 denier and a fiber length of 38mm, having a chrysanthemum- shaped cross section on which a polyester component A is divided into eight parts by a polyamide component B, an equivalent web is stacked in such a way that they cross each other. This stack of fiber webs is placed on wire gauze, the webs are entwined by ejection of pressurized water from a nozzle plate, are impregnated with an aqueous solution of iron chloride (III) with a 30wt.% concentration, are contacted with pyrrole monomer gas, left at room temperature for seven minutes, polymerized with pyrrole, washed, and dried to obtain a cleaning material covered at its nonwoven fabric surface with 2.4g/m<2> of polypyrrole (2.7wt.%, adhesion rate) and having a surface resistance of 200Ωsquare (<=692Ω/sqyare).
