The device has a regulator which controls the expansion valve (15). The regulator has a first and a second differential pressure nozzle (3,4). These are each divided by a membrane (7,8) into a pressure chamber (5,6) and a counter-pressure chamber (9,10). The pressure chamber (5) of the first nozzle (3) is connected to a first pressure generator whose output pressure corresponds to the air inlet temperature of the cooler (1). The pressure chamber (6) of the second nozzle (4) is connected to a second pressure generator whose output pressure corresponds to the cooler output side overheating temperature. The two counter-pressure chambers are connected to a third pressure generator whose output pressure corresponds to a predetermined reference pressure, preferably following the evaporation temp. The membranes (7,8) are moved in dependence on the differential pressure. These actuate the expansion valve (15) with predetermined mechanical translation. |
