PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol resin foam having excellent fire retardancy and capable of maintaining excellent heat insulation performance over a long period of time while suppressing environmental load, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a phenol resin foam which comprises a phenol resin and a foaming agent containing at least one of a chlorinated hydrofluoroolefin or a non-chlorinated hydrofluoroolefin, wherein in the phenol resin foam, the density is 10 kg/mor more and 150 kg/mor less, the thermal conductivity under an environment at 10°C is 0.0175 W/m k or less and the thermal conductivity under an environment at 23°C is 0.0185 W/m k or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
